This 10 litre water softener unit is the perfect size option for housing in kitchen cupboards when you have 1-4 people and up to 2 bathrooms in your household operating from just a single 10 litre resin vessel.

The machine benefits from Non Mains Electric Operation (Operates with 2 small D size batteries).  The SoluSoft EasyFit is the go to option for lower machine cost especially when swapping out your broken/ inefficient non electric dual tank block softeners which have a high replacement cost. Comes with free replacement softener in and out water pipes with washers in either 15mm or 22mm sizing.

Installation

• Easy Fit existing unit replacement, if all the bypass taps and shut off valves on your plumbing are in working order it becomes a basic DIY job or basic work for a plumber with few tools required to replace an old unit. Most can be fitted with only one screwdriver!!

Machine Specs

• High Service Flow Rate of up to 50 Litres per Minute (this is a high rating for a domestic softener perfect for houses with the larger 22mm inlet pipework and high flow rates. But also works with the lower 15mm inlet size pipework).

• Water usage of 47 Litres water per regeneration cycle (10 litre resin tank). Bare in mind a lot of Non electric dual tank brands only show regeneration spec’s for one tank (4.5 litres resin per tank) on their spec sheets when its a dual tank system, I know cheeky right making direct comparison difficult if you don’t understand water softeners.
• Dual compatibility takes both Block Salt and Tablet Salt, whether you want blocks for easy loading or tablets for a more economic option.
• Massive 1860 Litre water softening capacity when water hardness level is at level 300ppm. Taking into account a typical water usage is around 140-150 litres per day per person for the average household. Therefore this capacity means for a lot of households will only have regeneration once a week. With a salt consumption of around 1.4kg per regeneration cycle so its very cost efficient. A correctly sized single tank softener never runs out of softening capacity when sized correctly for the house usage requirements. Never had a problem with mine, so my single tank softener is providing me 24/7 soft water without needing a non electric dual tank system.
• Regeneration time of 40 Mins, usually programmed at 2am once it hits reserve capacity, this avoids any loss to softened water usage as it cant provide soft water during parts of regeneration so regenerates when most people are asleep in bed.

Quality

• A professional grade valve only available to water softener companies, superior to most of the lower priced DIY store models. Why? Other brands in our product testing were found to have issues with poorer quality brand valves causing sticking pistons and snapping plastic parts as the grade/quality of the plastic is inferior quality. Take caution also when buying some Non electric dual tank softeners, some are written off with chlorine contamination or when resin reaches end of life around 12-13 years. When the resin becomes spent it expands and destroys the softener resin tanks so they can no longer hold in the resin correctly and require replacement at a high cost or a new machine. Compared to our machines that are designed to be able to be repaired and have resin replaced.
• Quality really does matters as we have some customers with softeners that are in excess of 35 years old and still in service (a great return on your investment, saving customers money), and have seen some customers buy inferior products that do not make even the 7 year mark.  Sometimes buying cheaper does mean buying twice!

One a final note this unit is also Made in Britain with a good parts availability, very important as the machine ages. It also comes with a 2 year manufacturers warranty which are just more fantastic reasons it purchase it.
